You’re Not A Background Character: Why Manifestation Starts With Taking Your Power Back

Let me tell you the truth most manifestation content skips over:

You can’t “positive think” your way into an extraordinary life if you’re still energetically passive.

Trust me… I TRIED.

I had the Human Design chart. I knew I was a Generator with sacral authority. I studied Kabbalah. I did shadow work, nervous system healing, vision boards, inner child meditations… ALL. OF. IT.

But for the longest time, my life still felt… STUCK.

I wasn’t in my own space.

My voice still felt edited.

My body was holding extra weight no matter what I tried.

And my dreams? Still visions. Not reality.

So what was missing?

It hit me like a whisper I couldn’t un-hear:

“You’re the one directing this energy.”

The Passive Pattern Most People Don’t See

We’re taught to be polite. To wait our turn. To not be “too much.”

We’re raised to hope that someone will come save us, fix it, choose us, validate us.

And for a long time, I did just that.

I waited.

I hoped my life would change on its own.

I HOPED things would get better if I just stayed quiet.

I hoped for a miracle, all while subtly outsourcing my power.

But here’s the uncomfortable truth:

Hope without action is just deferral.

And the most dangerous kind of passivity is the one that looks spiritual. The one where you say things like,

“I’m just surrendering.”

“It’ll all work out.”

“If it’s meant to be…”

…But inside, you’re avoiding the micro-decisions that build the life you actually want.

Manifestation Requires Movement

I had to face it: My nervous system didn’t feel safe receiving more.

Even though I consciously wanted abundance, love, and freedom… my body was still bracing for the next letdown.

I had to stop blaming the universe and start asking better questions:

What patterns am I participating in?

Where am I still outsourcing my authority?

What am I actually available for?

When I finally started to make new choices from a place of sacred responsibility instead of helplessness/victimhood my life has really began to shift.

It wasn’t overnight.

It wasn’t always easy.

But it came with clarity, momentum, and a shift in how I see everything.

Real Talk: What Does That Actually Look Like?

Let me give you real examples from my own life, because this isn’t about theory:

I stopped saying “I’m confused” and started listening to my sacral (gut). Even if the next step felt inconvenient or unclear.

**I ended patterns where I was waiting to be chosen- at home, in relationships, and in business  **because I finally chose me.

I started releasing dynamics that no longer matched my truth, even when the conversations were uncomfortable or the logistics messy. I’ve learned that honoring your inner knowing often asks for courage before clarity.

I changed the tone of my content I no longer over-explain or dilute my voice. I speak like the woman I’m becoming, not the one I used to be.

I made space in my body for a new reality. I moved from dieting and frustration to nourishment and deep listening. Even when I didn’t see results immediately.

And it all started the day I said:

“No more waiting. I’m the authority now.”

Outgrowing Victimhood: The Collective Shift

Let’s be real- victimhood has been a collective pandemic.

It’s sneaky. It’s normalized. And in a world full of chaos, it feels justified.

But here’s what I know:

You were not born to be a background character in your own story.

You are not helpless to your circumstances.

You have the power to direct your life through choice, energy, and aligned action.

That doesn’t mean pretending life isn’t hard.

It means showing up as the Creator within the challenge.

The Moment It All Changed For Me

I realized I wasn’t going to be “rescued.”

No man. No mentor. No perfect morning routine.

Just me. My soul. My willingness to show up.

And instead of trying to perfect everything, I started practicing decisive energy.

Small things. Moment by moment.

Saying yes. Saying no. Saying enough.

That was the shift.

That was the moment I knew:

I’m not playing small anymore.
