The Messy Middle of Manifestation (Where It Actually Gets Hard)
But the in-between?
That’s where most people sabotage without even realizing it.
Here’s something I don’t hear people talk about enough:
When you start to actually manifest THE thing you’ve prayed for- the moment it starts to show up- it doesn’t always feel like celebration. Sometimes, it feels like chaos!
You get the confirmations. You know it’s happening.
And instead of relaxing into it, fear surfaces. Old habits show up.
You start reaching for sugar, comfort food, distraction.
Suddenly you feel like maybe you’re tearing things apart instead of building something new.
That’s the in-between!
The In-Between Isn’t a Failure
We love to talk about the beginning of manifestation the clarity, the visioning, the prayers.
And we love to talk about the end the dream realized, the alignment, the “it finally happened.”
But the in-between? That’s where most people sabotage without even realizing it.
When the breakthrough is close, your nervous system interprets it as danger. It scrambles to find something familiar.
That’s why you eat, scroll, pick fights, or procrastinate. Not because you’re weak or “not ready,” but because your body is trying to protect you from change!! (sneaky right?!)
Why This Phase is Sacred
If you’ve been here before, you might have walked away from something that was actually about to land.
Maybe you called it off, gave up, or numbed out. You didn’t realize your system was stretching.
If you’re here right now, know this: the fear, the cravings, the guilt, the messy emotions- they don’t mean it’s falling apart.
They mean you’re expanding!
This is the contraction before the birth.
How I’m Holding It
I’m not writing this as someone who’s already landed. I’m in it too!! Here’s what I’m practicing:
• Naming the feelings out loud. Fear, excitement, guilt, gratitude. When I name them, I remember I’m the witness- not the chaos.
• Finding a regulator besides food. Walking, humming, deep breaths. Giving my body a way to release without numbing.
• Reframing the guilt. This isn’t me tearing my life apart. This is me laying a new foundation built on truth.
• Staying honest. Not bypassing, not pretending I’m fine. Letting it be messy and still moving forward.
If You’re Here Too
Maybe you’re reading this and realizing: “Oh.
That’s what happened to me last time I thought I was so close, but then I shut it down.”
Or maybe you’re standing in the in-between right now, and it feels unbearable.
Either way- don’t mistake this part of the journey for failure. It’s the most important stretch!!
✨ Remember:
The in-between is not proof it’s slipping away. It’s proof it’s coming closer.
Hold yourself steady here. Don’t ghost your own dream!!
I’m right here with you!!
